I think the manuscript could have used another rewrite or two before it was published. This book is strongly recommended for anyone who works with grade students. The ending is sweet and will make re Jeremy Thatcher is a normal boy with normal problems. The ending actually made me cry, which is very unusual for me. With some attention to detail and timing, it could have cast a magical mood, drawing me into the story. But somehow, the lack of conflict didn’t bother me. Jeremy Thatcher knows a thing or two about raising animals-after all, his dad is a veterinarian.
This was obviously a quick read. So I was in a haste to finish it. Check out hatvher book. I loved this book and i want to read more.

It’s not quite the kind of middle-grade fiction that adults in my opinion can fully enjoy, but it’s an excellent choice for intelligent young readers who aren’t quite ready for YA fiction. Coville has, running alongside the developing relationship, other storylines which would be of significance to the readers for whom the book was actually written.
The plot itself is quite too simple in my taste, but I won’t protest since this batcher a book written for children. See 1 question about Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher…. There are also a multitude of lessons buried pretty well in the writing that it comes as jfremy natural for it; that so Of the Magic Shop books, this is my favorite.
I guess the take awa I was going to listen to these books on audio while I did chores and such, but realized that I read them a lot faster than the recordings.
