Remuneration and expenses of delegates of the Protecting Powers shall be subject to agreement between those Powers and the States whose interests they are safeguarding. Enhanced protection shall be granted to cultural property by the Committee from the moment of its entry in the List.

All documents forwarded under this Chapter shall be exempt from legalisation or any analogous formality. Any such declaration shall give rise to obligations between two Contracting States only in so far as their declarations cover the same maintenance obligations and parts of the Convention.
The instruments of ratification, acceptance or approval shall be deposited with the Director-General. Upon receipt of a request for inclusion in the List, the Committee shall inform all Parties of the request. Acceptance by the High Contracting Parties of amendments to, the Convention or to the Regulations for its execution, which have been adopted by the Conference mentioned in paragraphs 4 and 5, shall be effected by the deposit of a formal instrument with the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
The Party which has jurisdiction or control over the cultural property may request that it be included in the List to be established in accordance with Article 27 sub-paragraph 1 b.
The application of the provisions of Chapter 3 of this Protocol is without prejudice to: The Protecting Powers shall propose for approval by the Comvenzione to the conflict a person belonging to a neutral Power or a person presented by the Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, which person shall be invited to take part in such a meeting in the capacity of Chairman.

The denunciation shall take effect one year after the receipt of the instrument of denunciation. At any time thereafter, such extensions shall be notified to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Each High Contracting Party shall make out its own type of identity card, guided by the model annexed, by way of example, to the present Regulations.
Conventions, Protocols and Principles
In the event that a convenzionw is made by a Convenzuone Economic Integration Organisation in accordance with paragraph 3, any reference to a “Contracting State” or “State” in this Convention shall apply equally to the relevant Member States of the Organisation, where appropriate.

Parties are encouraged to give technical assistance of all kinds, through the Committee, to those Parties or parties to the conflict who request it. Any application made through Central Authorities of the Contracting States in accordance with this Chapter, and any document convwnzione information appended thereto or provided by a Central Authority, may not be challenged by the respondent by reason only of the medium or means of communication employed between the Central Authorities concerned.
Nevertheless, when the safety of the property requires it, the depositary may, with the assent of the depositor, have the property transported to the territory of a third country, under the conditions laid down in the present article; d the request for special protection shall indicate that the State to whose territory the property is to be transferred accepts the provisions of the present Article.
The Convention shall also apply to all cases of partial or total occupation of the territory of a High Contracting Party, even if the said occupation meets with no armed resistance.

Communications emanating from the receiving Central Authority may be drawn up in the official language or one convenaione the official languages of the requested State or in English or French.
